South Waikato also boasts pristine springs delivering export quality water. Tests show the spring water, which begins as rain on the Mamaku Ranges and then percolates in underground aquifers for up to 100 years, is probably among the purest in the world. In 15 years of testing no impurity has been recorded.

One of the local town water supplies is sourced from this spring. The quality of this water is recognised internationally, with the same spring also being the sources of 70% of New Zealand’s commercially bottled water.

The springs can deliver significantly more than is currently being used, and offer a huge range of opportunities not only for those interested in bottled water production, but for any commercial activity involving processes which would be enhanced by the use of the highest quality water.
